Go back in time for a train ride behind big steam in historic Niles Canyon!
This event is sponsored by PLA and GGRM as a fundraiser to support the continued restoration if our historic artifacts and rail line. Come out and join us for the green hills of springtime and hear the bark of exhaust and echo of the whistle on the canyon walls. Treat yourself and your family to a ride behind a beautifully restored 1921 steam locomotive pulling historic and open cars on a segment of the original transcontinental railroad through scenic Niles Canyon. Seating in the newly refurbished and air-conditioned Art-Deco Lounge car and Southern Pacific Business Car "Oakland" is also available.
